Home Delivery Manager - Daventry, Northamptonshire
Salary in the region of £20,000 per annum 1 x Coventry Position 1 x Milton Keynes Position Our client is seeking to recruit an Operations Manager to join their growing team. Key Roles: * Successful candidate must have a valid CPC * The ability to effectively lead, delegate and people manage *Flexibility to work 40 hours per week (5 days out of 7) covering weekend rota. * 08.00 - 20.30 hours Responsibilities: *Managing day-to-day operations; overseeing office administration * Managing a team of drivers, porters and warehouse operatives * Monitoring work in progress; ensuring all deliveries are completed on time; liaising with customers Candidate requirements: The ideal candidate will have people management experience and be used to working in a fast paced, customer focused, business environment. * Experience working within logistics / courier industry will be an advantage bit is not essential. * A full UK driving license and a good level of driving experience and local and regional road knowledge * Living within a 30 minute drive of either Coventry or Milton Keynes.
