Our Client is the UK-based subsidiary of a major International Defence Contractor with annual sales of $25 billion. It is a prime contractor and major supplier to the UK Ministry of Defence and has developed strong capabilities in mission systems integration in defence, national security and commercial markets.
The appointment:
We are seeking an experienced and successful business winner who is an innovative and pro-active team player with well developed communication skills and relevant domain experience of Air Traffic Management (ATM)Systems. He or she should have proven ability to develop, grow, modify and deliver strategies to identify and capture new business in the Military/Civil ATC or related systems domains in the UK and overseas. The post holder should be able to work within a matrix organizational structure - develop and maintain excellent working relationships with peers and managers of other key functions and business units (UK/USA/Canada).
Professional Knowledge required:
Profound understanding and experience of civil/military radar or complimentary product procurement process from concept to production phases. Demonstrable understanding and experience of current ATM systems, structures and doctrine Good commercial acumen, with knowledge contract bids, proposals and negotiations. Strong written and communication skills including ability to present our clients capabilities at the highest level to Air Traffic and Navigation Service Providers, relevant government departments and other stakeholders Strong organisational skills including budget planning
