Multi Site Assistant Contract Manager – Parking Service Industry

This is a rewarding and responsible position for someone wishing to become involved in management with one of the UK’s leading national parking businesses. Previous experience in the parking industry is not required.

Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will be the first point of contact for the client on these prestigious contracts.

You will lead and develop a large team of parking professionals based at these locations and ensure that all operational functions associated with the smooth running of the car parks. These functions range from servicing of equipment through collection and transportation of cash, to resolving customer issues quickly and satisfactorily. You will be responsible for the recruitment, training and ongoing assessment of your staff.

You will also take on responsibility for Health & Safety, Risk Assessments and ensure compliance with company operating procedures. You will be responsible for managing the contracts to deliver the financial targets set out in the business plan. You will be expected to work to tight budgets, control expenditure on labour, uniforms and other operational costs.

To succeed in this role you will need to be an energetic, motivated and self-confident leader. Your working background is less important than your commitment and capability.

Our client will want to see evidence of man management ability, strong leadership and people skills. It will be an advantage to have some experience of working in the contract service industry, but equally your broader customer service skills and general management experience will be of value.

You must be reliable and a self starter with good communication skills and a reasonable level of computer skill including Word and Excel. A full UK driving licence is essential for this position.
